Shades of the X-Files! An unknown monster has washed ashore near Montauk, Long Island, NY. This is a rodent-like creature with a dinosaur beak.

There is a rumor of "a government animal testing facility" very close by in Long Island.

....... the very old rumor goes.....cuckly tells me he herd about this place at least 15 years ago............ its not in long island its an island off long island.......and what he has herd many years back now, all kinds of crazy sh%t goes on their... animal.... chemical...... god knows what kinda of goverment testing ......... the island was not open to the puplic never was way back when and getting close warrented a visit by coast guard...... go figure he would here about it again after so many years ,crazy........... tax dollars at work ????? wow......

And what say the experts? Is this photo not a fake?

And by the way, if that island is restricted, the person who uploaded this picture first might have some troubles.

they found the so-called beast on long island. the so called goverment testing place is an island ALL of its own. two very different places, very close to each other

long island: big place, lots of people

so called goverment testing island: small place, off limits

both islands are close to each other.

even more terrifying if our usa tax dollars is funding these kinda tests

if all these old stories are true..............

Thanks Hotwife... i just did't get it at the first. Anyway this beaked rodent hybrid looks morbid. I wouldn't touch it with even a bare finger!

I can't make out what is on its paw. It looks like some kind of a bandage.

I think it looks like a tag or something like this. It is a pity that there was no hero to take it off the paw and explore it but I cannot blame anyone! The corpse looks dangerously sick and some artificial results of genetists work can be as mortal as the worst viruses!

It is bigger than I supposed. When you look at such a beaked rodent you hardly imagine it like something as large as a bulldog.

Isn't it a bit curious that the photo with the little girl looks just like the "original" photo? Maybe as if someone simply added the girl to the photo? And don't you think a child that small would be prevented by an adult from approaching a dead carcass?

Also, the supposed photographer of the critter, Jenna Hewitt, described it as the size of a small dog.

Things as not as they seem. I think there is some creative fibbing going on here.

Oh.. what a terrible thing on the photo. I cannot even imagine such a hybrid.
I hope the girl was added in photoshop or her parents are idiots!

Maybe, maybe. Anyway the carcass looks realistic. And the Photoshop is not almighty :))
As about the girl, even the best parents cannot look for their child at every moment.
There are some other pictures of this monster in the net, made at other angles.

This one isn't like a SMALL dog, really is not.
But I cannot remember any creature that's carcass could be a blank for such monster in photoshop.
Some people insist that it is just a racoon, decayed a bit, and nothing more.
