Kotikkk, Well, it appears that I spoke too soon. Yesterday an arsonist started 3 fires in the American River Park area in Sacramento. It was fortunate that some one saw the first fire and alterted authorties and all 3 fires were quickly put out with air and ground units. Posted on: 07/17/08 15:28

Kotikkk, Most of the fires that are near me were started by lighting strikes. Some of the ones in other area's were started by people who were camping and let their fire get out of control. So far, as I know, I don't believe any of the current fires were started by arsonists. Posted on: 07/12/08 16:49

Sounds terrific. The firefighters in CA are mighty Heroes, no doubt! God bless them, and curse those dickheads who fire the forests. You said that some of those fires are artificial in fact, didn't you... Posted on: 07/11/08 18:59
