Remembering "Field Day" In School As A Child.
I was thinking about all those times in school when we had field days. It was always fun in Elementary and Middle Scool too. Right before we were to go off for summer vacation from school for a couple of months; they would have something called "Field Day". This day would consist of doing lots of different sports like kick ball, tag football, basketball, volleyball, tug-of -war with rope, and have one legged races. Let's not forget the water balloons...that was so much fun in the hot sun! They would also include all the great food along with ice cream and watermelon as well. Then, about a few hours before we would go home; they would settle us down for a movie at school to watch like batman or some other action type movie that was appropriate for kids in school at the time. Then, all of us kids would get ready to go home. It was a blast of great fun as a child during those field days back then! Wonder if adults could have something similar; I bet it would be lots of fun!!
