Hi Kotikkk, yes, I had to reinstall the XP Windows software operating system back onto my computer. I didn't have any other choice because the viruses and spyware were taking over my programs on my computer; and kept resending a Trojan virus back onto my computer that would not go away. So, I had to start all over with backing work up on floppy,wiping old system out;and putting XP software back onto the computer. It was a lot of work; but I am glad that I got it done myself. Yes, those bytehead guys often bet a sweet ass on it! In my opinion it isn't worth such credits at all as they require. But was it really necessary to reinstall the whole system totally? It is a very serious procedure even for the most wicked viruses. Posted on: 06/20/08 09:21

Hi Letusdoit, Yes I know; I found out that there were so many different spywares and even viruses on it. I have a software program that I can wipe everything out on computer and start over with a new operating system. So, I took plenty of time to understand and read how to do it; and I finally fixed it myself. I was very glad to be able to do that because a repair person would have charged a lot of money to fix it. Posted on: 06/19/08 15:57
